Check the neutral wire first

The YEYAY CIRCA series explicitly requires a neutral wire. Do not assume your existing switch box has the wiring it needs; have an installer check before choosing a replacement.

If another model’s listing does not specify its neutral-wire requirement, ask YEYAY to confirm. Missing information is not proof that a switch works without neutral.

Match gang count to your controls

The CIRCA range includes 2-gang, 3-gang and 4-gang options. Choose the configuration that matches the circuits you want to control, rather than selecting only by appearance or price.

Gang count and current rating are different specifications. A 4-gang switch does not, by itself, establish whether it can handle a particular appliance. Ask the installer to check the circuit arrangement and the physical fit of the replacement switch.

Check the connected load

Before ordering, share the appliance details and available rating information with YEYAY. Where the listing does not give enough information, request confirmation of the permitted load for each output and the switch as a whole.

• For lighting, confirm the connected lighting load and required gang count.
• For fan speed control, consider a dedicated fan controller such as FANORA F1 and confirm compatibility with your fan.
• For higher-current applications, AMPERA 40 is listed as a 40A smart switch. Its rating alone is not a complete installation assessment; the connected equipment and existing wiring still need checking.

Have mains wiring and installation checks handled by a qualified installer rather than opening or modifying a live switch box yourself.
